Learn the Lyra!
with Jess Evans-Wall
Saturday, April 21st
12-2pm: Introduction & Beginning Moves
2-4pm: Intermediate Moves & Partnering
$30 for one section or
$55 for the whole workshop!
Jessica Evans-Wall has a background in classical ballet and Irish dance. She has enjoyed rock climbing and ice climbing and sees aerial dance as a way to combine interests in climbing with the fluidity of dance. She moved to Bozeman in September of 2011 and is excited to be joining the dance community here.
12-2pm: Introduction & Beginning Moves
This two hour class will be an introduction to the lyra. How to get on and off in numerous styles, solo moves and basic partner moves. Please wear comfortable clothes that allow full movement. Leggings are easier in the hoop than baggy pants (jeans really do not work).
2-4pm: Intermediate Moves & Partnering
The second part of the workshop will use the basics to build a larger move vocabulary and linking moves together to learn a dance. We will also work on more complicated partnering in the hoop.
Call (406)595-0909 or e-mail to register by April,16th.

Classes are held upstairs in The Weaver Room at
